Outgoing Mail Server and
Password Authentication Instructions

Because of the increasing amount of viruses and spam abuse
MCN customers and CVC one-way cable customers:
1) must only use the MCN outgoing mail server (mail.mcn.org)

2) have Password Authentication set in their email program.

We recommend ALL customers do these two things...

Instructions on how to check these two settings in the most popular email programs are below.

Click once on the name of your email program (it will be blue and underlined).
You'll be linked to directions on how to check your outgoing mail server is correct
and set Password Authentication in that program.
